JRC Clinician Dr. John O’Neill presented a 50-minute symposium on “Behavioral Pharmacology: Psychotropic Medication Management, Tapering, and Discontinuation” at the 21st Annual Connecticut Association for Behavior Analysis Conference.
He ended with student Sherry’s data before/after medication tapering and a short video of her telling the conference attendees to have a great rest of their day (after obtaining consent from her guardians). Last week we held an Annual Day of Remembrance in honor of long time, devoted staff who have passed. We had a cookout with activities for the students and clients and hosted two therapy dogs from an organization called Snug Pet Therapy.

Clinician Jessica Conaboy successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled, “The Effects of Brief Habit Reversal on Speech Disfluencies During Public Speaking Among Behavior Analysts” at Cappella University. Her PhD conferred in March. Congratulations, Jessica!
