April is off to a great start!

Janelle has been working hard on completing her academic tasks in the classroom as well as in speech! She has required minimal assistance in order to use her AAC device to communicate her wants and needs. Even when she has earned a break, she requests to complete more tasks. Recently, a new bulletin board was put up in her classroom, as she is encouraging more staff to learn ASL and sign with her! Congratulations, Janelle!

Asif has done really well in the classroom with very minimal behaviors and always self-motivated to get his academic work done. Asif has also done really well lately with using his voice to make requests without needing prompting. Even when the academic day is over, he still wants to complete some academic work, to the point where he is encouraged to stop and enjoy his breaks! Way to go Asif! π

We are happy to announce Angela as our Academic Student of the Week! She has been completing all her academics on time and accurately. Angela is making progress in her math fluency. She participates in group sharing and always gives back positive feedback to her peers. Angela is always willing to help other students with their academics. She is also passing many of her behavior contracts. Please be sure to congratulate Angela on her accomplishments and encourage her continued success. Way to go, Angela!
